There is much to see and do this holiday season in St. Louis. Whether you stay close to home and catch the light display at the St. Louis Zoo, or ride the Metro Downtown to visit Santa at Macy's, St. Louis offers traditional and new festivities that are sure to bring happiness to your holiday!
1. Light Displays
The St. Louis Zoo is open for Wild Lights at the Zoo on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights through December 14th, and every night from 5:30-8:30pm starting December 19th. This light display, along with others such as the Way of Lights at Our Lady of the Snows Shrine and the Winter Wonderland and Tilles Park are fun and memorable things to do during the Winter Season.
2. Photos with Santa
The St. Louis Galleria is hosting Santa in their Garden Court until December 24th during mall hours for photos. Additional places where pictures can be taken with Santa this holiday season are: Macy's Downtown Saturday and Sunday December 13-14 for Breakfast with Santa, the St. Louis Zoo Saturday and Sunday, December 13-14, and Saturday and Sunday, December 20-21 at 9:00am and 11:00am.
3. Christmas Shows
Misouri Botanical Gardens is hosting "Carols in the Garden" December 13-14. This event will have Christmas carols being sung, Santa in his sleigh, and a flower and train show. Additional shows taking place during the holiday season are The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. This will be showing from December 11-28 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre, and Santa vs The Snowman, a fun show that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit, playing at the Science Center OMNIMAX Theater December 13th.
